Check the Show more options box, then check the Play another media simultaneously box. After that you should be able to run multiple videos at once. Click on Tools->Preferences->at the bottom click the radio button all->Now in Advanced settings tick off the checkbox Allow only one running instance & One instance when started from file. Click the +Add button and select the first video you want to play. VLC Player should be able to manage that. You might have to navigate through a few different folders to find your Movies. Go to Media > Open Multiple Files on the menu bar. You can find the "Movies" folder by clicking the name of your computer in the Finder's sidebar, followed by "Macintosh HD," then "Users," then your account name, and then "Movies." You can also change where your recordings are saved through VLC's "Preferences" menu. You can tune into the stream using VLC or other media players. It'll be named "vlc-record," followed by the date, time, and the video's original title.
